Part 3: Reservations

GET Reservations for CS Gold is a 45 minute online self-paced training.  This course is designed for administrators and staff who need to understand how GET Order (GET Food) can be used for the purpose of reservations within GET.  Topics such as reservations blocks, reservation zones, configuring merchants and menus for reservations purposes, and changing the default wording of GET to accommodate reservations is discussed within this course.  

Part 4: Rewards

GET Rewards for CS Gold is a 95-minute online self-paced training.  This course is designed for administrators who need to configure a “patron loyalty program” within GET.  A GET Rewards program provides rewards to patrons through points and/or levels of points accumulated for patron actions.  Basically, a program where patrons are eligible to earn points and gain rewards for their activities and/or transaction purchases.  Topics such as using GET Rewards, Reward Tracks, Point Accumulation Rules, Rewards Levels, Experience Points, Reward Points, Reward Redemption Options, and detailed configuration options are all discussed within this course. 

A CS Gold Learning Subscription provides self-paced instruction for learning about CS Gold modules and features. The Learning Subscription includes basic operation courses for front-of-house users who work directly with your patrons, and more advanced courses for users who are responsible for maintaining, managing, and configuring specific areas within CS Gold.

CS Gold Automating Tasks (Batch Queue) (3 hours)

The CS Gold Automating Tasks (Batch Queue) course discusses automating specific jobs/tasks within the CS Gold system. You will learn how to create jobs using the Batch Queue Manager within WebManager/Admin Web, using Batch Queue Manager within the CS Gold Client Application (CS Gold GUI), and using command line switches for jobs and tasks. Oracle® MICROS Simphony Advanced
Instruction in a variety of advanced subjects. This course is approximately 37 minutes long and includes:

Menu Item Classes and Condiments (18 minutes):
A Condiment is a Menu Item which is either allowed or required by selling a parent Menu Item first. Condiment (modifier) configuration is an advanced Menu Item topic which employs the use of Condiment Groups, Menu Item Classes, and, where Required Condiments are concerned, minimum/maximum settings and price thresholds.

Combo Meals (7 minutes):
A Combo Meal typically offers cost savings over ordering Menu Items individually. The Combo Meals modules include useful features such as the definition of 1) a default Menu Item in a Combo Meal Group, 2) multiple Menu Item sizes and prices, 3) Menu Item substitution from alternate Combo Groups, and 4) Auto Combo recognition.

Discounts (12 minutes):
Addresses the configuration of both manual and automatic Discounts. Concepts such as the use of Menu Item Groups to limit Discounts to only the Menu Items in a group, trigger and award Menu Item Groups, and Discount availability (effectivity) are covered.
