About Us

Introducing Illumia

In November 2025, we announced that Transact + CBORD would be moving forward under a new name: Illumia. On March 3, 2026, we officially launched the Illumia brand and filed the legal name change in the State of Delaware.

This page serves as a central resource for information and documentation related to the transition.

Please note that this is an administrative name change and brand realignment. It does not affect your existing contracts, systems, purchasing vehicles, or the products, services, and support you receive. Over the coming months, you'll see the Illumia name reflected across our materials and communications as the transition continues.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is happening?
One March 3, 2026, Transact filed the necessary paperwork in the State of Delaware to officially change the name of the company to Illumia.
When was this effective?
The name change will be effective on April 30, 2026.
How does this impact me?
Over the next several months, you will see changes as we prepare for the transition to the new brand.  However, we want to emphasize that this is an administrative change, and does not impact the products, services and support you continue to receive as a valued client, partner, or vendor.
Will anything change operationally?
You will gradually see the new name and branding on our website, social media platforms, and internal documents, such as contracts, training guides, and support documents.  Key documents such as our W-9 and insurance certificate have been made available on our website.
Is this an acquisition or merger of Transact?
No.  The company has been a part of the Roper Technologies companies since 2024.  This is a branding realignment.
Do I have to do anything with my contract?
No.  A name change alone does not trigger requiring a contract to be rebid, cancelled or terminated.  Your contract remains intact and is valid and enforceable.
Does the name change invalidate any system registrations, sole source awards, or purchasing vehicles?
System registrations, prior sole source awards, and purchasing vehicle contracts are not invalidated by the name change.  You can continue to operate under the same systems and contracts as before.
What if I have legal or procurement questions?
This FAQ, along with commonly requested documentation related to the name change has been made available on our website.  If you have specific legal or operational questions, please contact your client success manager and your questions will be escalated to our Legal Department or management team.
Do we need to update our supplier/vendor registration records right now?
Not immediately.  For Transact clients, you will see the name change over time.  However, the EIN is not changing.  For CBORD clients specifically, no updates to supplier registration documentation are required at this time.  The EIN for CBORD remains unchanged until the end of the year.
When will I start seeing the Illumia name on quotes and invoices?
The Illumia name will begin appearing on quotes and invoices after May 1st. You will be notified in advance of this change.  For CBORD clients, you will see documentation reflected as “The CBORD Group, LLC an Illumia company” with the same EIN until the end of the year.  W-9s are available on our website.
